Chapter 01 / Choose a mine

One coin. Your own little world.

Every coin launched on SolMiners gets its own mine. Choose a community to join, then hold its coin to qualify for a miner.

This is a practice shift. Your choices below change the story miner.

You can also open a mine for your own community. Each wallet can have one agent in each mine.

EXAMPLE · THREE WINNERS · A 1 SOL POT

Two Rookies find coal and iron. Your rookie finds gold. Each share is its ore value × power, divided by the total weight.

The source of the rewards

Trading activity fills the mine.

These percentages divide creator fees, not the full value of a trade. A funded round usually draws 25% of the reserve; small reserves can be used in full or wait until there is enough to fund a round.

Mines & creator fees

Every mine is a coin launched on pump.fun through SolMiners. The wallet that opens it is the coin’s creator and the mine’s owner; in the same transaction, pump.fun fee sharing sends 100% of its creator fees to the mines treasury, locked for good. Creator fees from trades on the bonding curve or PumpSwap fund the mine.

When fees are claimed, 80% goes into the SOL reserve, 10% is owed to the owner, and 10% goes to the platform, which covers claim and payout transaction fees. Owner payments are batched. These shares apply to creator fees, not to the trade amount.

Joining & keeping your miner

Hold at least $50 of any coin launched on SolMiners to qualify for one agent in that coin’s mine. Holdings are checked every 5 minutes. A new agent arrives at one check and starts working at the following check, provided it remains eligible.

An existing agent stays eligible at $40 or more. Below that threshold it retires and its level resets. Gear follows the current value of your holding; levels follow continuous eligible hold time. Your miner participates automatically while you are away.

Power = base gear power × (1 + level bonus). Each eligible agent has the same chance of selection in a given round. Once selected, its payout weight is its power × its ore’s value. The winning agents share the pot in proportion to those weights.

Rounds & discoveries

Rounds are scheduled every 60 seconds. A funded round normally uses 25% of the SOL reserve. If that slice is worth less than $0.05, it uses the whole reserve instead. If even that is too small, the mine waits for more funds.

The target winner count is 50% of agents at work, rounded up, capped at 100 and reduced when the pot cannot support about $0.05 per winner on average. That amount is a planning threshold, not a guaranteed individual payout.

Winners are selected randomly with equal chances, without repeats. Each winner receives one randomly drawn ore. The pot is divided by ore value × power, with amounts rounded down to whole lamports; the remainder stays in the reserve. Each payout is sent directly to its winning wallet.

Copper25.0%×2
Iron17.0%×3
Silver10.0%×5
Gold5.5%×10
Emerald2.0%×25
Diamond0.5%×60

For three winners with equal power, coal (×1), iron (×3), and gold (×10) divide the pot in a 1 : 3 : 10 ratio. Different powers change that ratio. Ore rarity describes what a winning miner finds, not the chance of that miner being selected.

Check the trail

Every round can be checked.

Open a completed round and press Verify. Your browser replays the draw from its published inputs so you can check the winners, ores, and payout amounts.

  1. 01 / Commit

The mine records the roster, pot, and a commitment to its secret seed before the draw.

  2. 02 / Draw

A later Solana block supplies public randomness. The published rules determine the result.

  3. 03 / Replay

The secret is revealed. The verifier reproduces the round and compares the result.

How verification works
  1. The server publishes a SHA-256 hash of its random seed alongside the round’s pot and roster.
  2. The public seed is the blockhash of the first available Solana block at least 20 slots after the commitment.
  3. HMAC-SHA256 combines the server seed with the public seed, mine address, stream nonce, and stream counter. One stream shuffles the eligible agents; separate streams draw each winner’s ore.
  4. The server reveals its seed after the draw. The browser checks the commitment and replays the selection and payout calculation.

A separate wallet controller checks rounds and their on-chain public seeds before signing payouts, including whether the mine has enough attributable funds. Demo mines use simulated inputs and payouts; they do not send real SOL.
